Purpose
The MAC promotes and administers membership of the Institute, recommends accreditation for education in urban design and Internationalization of Urban Designer accreditation.)

Terms of Reference

  1. To receive, consider and make recommendations to the Council on applications for membership of the Institute.
  2. To interview applicants for full membership of the Institute to assess their urban design knowledge and experience.
  3. To promote membership of the Institute and make recommendations on membership policy.
  4. To promote the development and quality assurance of urban design education programmes in Hong Kong
  5. To consider and recommend to the Council the accreditation of such programmes.
