Co-organised by HKIA, HKIUD and URA, the Urban Regeneration Dialogue 2.0: Advancing the Discourse on Hong Kong's Urban Future forum brought together practitioners, academics and policymakers to explore innovative and context-sensitive approaches to renewal. Presentations by the winning teams shared design strategies and community-focused thinking to inform future initiatives.
This forum was the second in an ongoing series advancing discourse on urban renewal in Hong Kong. Building on the momentum of the URAxHKIA Urban Renewal Design Ideas Competition – which brought together architects and urban designers from Hong Kong and overseas to reimagine Yau Ma Tei and Mong Kok – Dialogue 2.0 expands the conversation to address wider strategic challenges and opportunities across the city.
